Who we are

Northline Electric LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a licensed electrical contractor based in Freehold, NJ 07728, serving Monmouth County + into Middlesex (Central NJ). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and — importantly — what we never do with it.

When you contact us through this website, call us, or hire us for work, we may collect:

• Contact information — your name, phone number, email address, and service address.
• Job information — details about the electrical work you need, and records of work we perform.
• Communications — records of calls, text messages, and emails between us.
• Website usage — we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-friendly tool that measures aggregate traffic (such as page views, referring sites, and general location) without cookies and without identifying you individually. Our hosting provider also keeps standard technical logs, such as IP addresses, for security and reliability.

We collect the information above that you give us, that is necessary to do the work you hire us for, or that our website and hosting collect automatically as described.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

• Respond to your request for a quote or service.
• Schedule, perform, and follow up on electrical work.
• Send you appointment reminders, arrival notifications, and job updates.
• Send invoices and handle payment.
• Meet our legal, permitting, and licensing obligations.

Mobile information and text messaging

If you give us your mobile number, we may text you about your job — appointment confirmations, when our electrician is on the way, quote follow-ups, and invoices. These are service messages related to work you asked us to do.

Message frequency varies depending on your job. Message and data rates may apply.

To stop receiving texts, reply STOP to any message. You will receive one confirmation and we will not text you again. Reply HELP for help, or call us at (732) 555-0148. We honor opt-out requests made by any reasonable method.

Opting out of text messages will not affect your ability to hire us — we will simply call or email you instead. See our SMS Terms for full details.

Who we share information with

We share your information only when it is necessary to do the work or required by law:

• Service providers who help us operate — scheduling software, phone and messaging providers, and payment processors. They may only use your information to provide that service to us.
• Township construction offices when we pull a permit for your job, as required by law.
• Suppliers when ordering equipment for your specific job.
• When legally required — for example, in response to a lawful request from authorities.

We never sell your personal information. We never share your mobile number or SMS consent for third-party marketing (see above).

How we protect your information

We take reasonable measures to protect your information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit who can access your data and only keep it as long as we need it for the work, our records, and legal obligations.

Your choices

• Ask us what information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct or delete your information (subject to records we must legally keep).
